Heidi Turner, MS, RDN, CD

Heidi Turner, MS, RDN spent 12 years as the Medical Nutrition Therapist at the Seattle Arthritis Clinic at Northwest Hospital in Seattle, where she counseled those with autoimmune, inflammatory and degenerative conditions.   She recently left her position at the clinic to focus on her private practice, FoodLogic (www.foodlogic.org), where she specializes in histamine and chemical intolerance, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and digestive disorders such as SIBO and IBS.  Heidi earned her Master’s degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and completed her Dietetic Internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center.  She has authored three elimination diets for various inflammatory conditions as well as the Low Histamine Biphasic Diet which she co-authored with Dr. Nirala Jacobi.  She is a professional advisor to such publications as Arthritis Today.  She speaks at numerous venues on a variety of nutrition-related topics and is dedicated to educating both the patient and practitioner on the vital role nutrition plays in our health.  Heidi lives happily in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, son and devoted cat.
