A complete training and 3-hour SIBO “how-to,” this course from Dr. Siebecker is a precursor for SIBOCON2020.
Part 1: Understanding and Diagnosing SIBO
Covers SIBO sub-types, underlying causes, how symptoms are generated, differential diagnosis, and breath test diagnosis with detailed interpretation instruction.
Part 2: Managing SIBO
Covers the many aspects of treatment, including antibiotics, herbal antibiotics, elemental diet, diet, prokinetics and key points for success. Useful clinical pearls and Q&A time are included.
Describe the symptoms, common etiology and pathophysiology of SIBO and correlate SIBO with established diseases and syndromes.
Perform diagnosis of SIBO based on analysis of patient history, differential diagnosis and interpretation of test results.
Tailor treatment options for patients based on their predominant symptoms and gas types, while considering the mechanisms of action and potential side effects of each treatment.
